What is your excuse?

We all suffer from allowing our excuses to get the best of us. Whether we want to be financially fit, healthier, more consistent in our daily routines... When it comes down to attaining those things, it's often easier to allow a clever excuse to get in the way. After giving that some thought it occurred to me how often we allow our excuses to keep us tied down and chained in our current comfort zones, which are really of no real value to us. We opt to stay in debt, over look an important opportunity or keep up our current crazy life choices...which in turn make us more insane. I am not sure why we do this to ourselves and why we find comfort in sabotaging ourselves? As I know the Almighty doesn't wish us to stay stagnant in our old way of life, or He would not provide and opportunity for change in the first place. Wind vs Life

I had an epiphany about life while running yesterday. It was a nicer day, the sun was out but the wind was blowing. I was jogging with my daughter in her stroller, which is usually pretty light when its just Kloe and the stroller. But today with the wind blowing I had Kloe strapped into her carrier, bundled up and snapped into the stroller this way we had use of the double canopy for a wind break. As I ran up a hill I got a strong blast of a head wind. The head wind used my daughters stroller as a wind sock, which made the stroller even heavier to push. This happened a bunch of times on my run. And with each hill I was getting more and more tired. I was starting to think about giving up and I just couldn't wait to turn the corner just to have the wind blowing at a different angle.
