Pregnancy Journey

Since starting on my pregnancy journey 3 1/2 months ago, I have experienced a lot of ups and downs physically. With my first pregnancy I was tired, however I never really had any negative issues with food.

This time around (although I am thankful for not being so physically ill that I had to throw up) I have experienced NON- STOP NASEAU!! YUCK!! Which for someone who's like me and like to eat has been difficult to deal with.

The first trimester I could not find anything to really settle my stomach. I tried all food, good and bad and nothing seemed to help. I was beginning to wonder if this would go on through the duration of my pregnancy, but thankfully as I entered the 2nd trimester I have been blessed with a new settled tummy!! Yay!!

Now that I am in the 2nd trimester, not only is my tummy feeling better, but now I have more energy as well!! I am so happy to be able to workout again! Although I am not really interested in doing the harder workouts I once did pre-pregnancy, like Turbo Fire, P90X... I have moved on to a less strenuous workout designed to help me with flexibility and keeping my strength up. "Yoga Booty Ballet Baby on the Way" is what is on the schedule for the duration of my pregnancy, along with a little regular Yoga Booty Ballet (until my belly is larger), and walking...

I am not sure how women manage to run during pregnancy? As everything can be really uncomfortable. Just the other day, I lightly jogged to catch up to my husband and son at the soccer field, and felt as if my BOOBS WOULD EXPLODE and my belly felt as if it was 10x's its usual size! OMG it hurt so bad with all the tenderness and soreness going on as everything gets bigger. Yowza!! If you can run while pregnant more power to ya! But this momma is gonna have to take the slower route. ;)

It was really nice going to the Zoo last week. I actually had energy through the whole day. Didn't get out of breath walking up the hills or anything. It almost felt like I was the pre-prego me! I just hope this new energy holds out for a while. I know the 3rd trimester usually slows things down again, but I will take what I can get, even if it only last a few months.

Along with the energy, I am also able to eat better!! Which it is a good feeling to want to eat better again! I have been able to eat more salads and fruit, as well as making smoothies, and drinking my Shakeology again!! Another thing I have had to do is re-incorporate enzymes back into my daily diet. This pregnancy has really slowed my digestion process down, so the enzymes are helping to break down the food as well as helping with transit time. Which is a HUGE blessing! Also it seems to help with GAS, which I seem to be full of! Burping and Farting seem to be par for the coarse. Sign... Fortunately my family thinks its funny and so we always get a good giggle out of it.

So far my belly has not gotten too big. I am still in regular clothes, which is good. But things are starting to get tight. My son is chomping at the bit to see the "BIG BELLY" as it is not growing as fast as he would like. I keep telling him to be patient. "The BIG BELLY" will be here soon enough. For me I am content to stay in regular clothes for as long as I can. But that is coming to an end as I quickly enter the 4th month.

I am starting up a Pregnancy Fitness Support Group for anyone who would like to stay active during their pregnancy. We will all be using "Yoga Booty Ballet Baby On The Way". It will be nice to share experiences with other pregnant Mommies, and help support one another as energy levels go up and down and food cravings come and go. If you would like to join the group message me. I have a facebook invite I will send you with all the details.

Building Your Family’s Healthy Eating Habits by Cooking and Eating Together

Including your children in the meal preparation process increases their awareness and appetite for healthy eating. Help! My toddlers like to HIDE my Stuff!

If you have a toddler you'll totally relate to this pic/story! Especially if your toddler ❤'s to get into your things and hide them . Yesterday we decided to go downtown  to pick up some essentials for the family. When I went to pay I found that my bank card  was missing ! I searched and searched and couldn't find it ! We were super far from home, so I called my hubs  who saved the day by transferring funds  over to my business card. That way we could at least get some grocery's  for the family without having to return home. To add an extra twist to the day, my bank decided to flag ⚠ my purchases for fraud !! SAY WHAT?!! Thankfully my son  was there to help out while I made several phone calls to the bank to get everything fixed. Once we got home I went searching for the missing card. I kinda figured Kloe  had messed with my wallet  while I did dishes the other day. My hunch was correct! Quess where I found my card and insurance paper? Eve...
